Emma is just too much!

Look who's a big boy now

Aiden will be 2 next month so I thought it was time for him to move onto the big boy bed, plus I want to take the crib out of the boys room. He was so excited about it, we bought him his own pillow and talked about his big boy bed all day. He went right to sleep. He loves being a big boy, and he hasn't gotten out of it yet. Knock on wood. (: Now to get rid of the binky!!







I am in love with this little boy.  He is so much fun and is learning so many new words.  His favorite word right now is mine, everything is his, even if it is my soda, he thinks its his!  (:  

Children's Museum

Some days I feel like a sheriff or a referee, or a judge, or just generally the mean mom.  Stop that, be quiet, stop hitting your sister, stop pinching your brother, just eat, are you listening to me?  Fold your arms, be reverent, whisper,  just calm down, Emma, Emma, EMMA!!!!  AHH  sometimes I feel like I am always yelling and they are just trying to tip toe around there very mean, obsessive compulsive mother.  I am so anal about there rooms being clean the house just being picked up in general that I think the kids get a little stressed out.  So Kael and I were watching the news and they were talking about the children's museum and Kael said "mom can we go there?"  I said yes Kael we can.  So Friday night we picked daddy up from work and went and just let the kids run wild and have fun, be crazy, make messes, and just be a kid.  I am so glad we did the kids had such a fun time and were exhausted on the way home.

2 weekends ago a really good friend and her girls from Glendora came out to visit.  What did we do while they were here??  Shopped of course that is what you do when Diona is here!  We had such a fun time even though I had all 4 of my kids Kael was sick with the flu and they were just generally grouchy we still manage to score some cute clothes.

Kael lost his first tooth!!!

Another weepy moment for this mommy.  I remember when Kael got his first tooth.  It was awful he was so grouchy and fussy till it finally came in I just remember Josh pacing back in forth of our first apartment with him to calm him down.  And now my giant 6 year old has lost his first tooth.  I am such a big baby!!  I cry when he hits any of the major milestones this is a big one.  Just another example to me that my tiny premie baby is no longer a helpless premie.  ):  This tooth has been loose for awhile Kael has just wiggled it little by little.  Well last night at Nanas house he came downstairs to show us his tooth!!  In his hands!!  He did it all by himself!  No one else yanking it around or anything, he was so proud of himself and he could not wait for the tooth fairy to come last night.  He was so worried that she didn't know he lost his tooth or where he lived.  That is my Kael such a worrier.   But she came there was glitter on his pillow as proof, not to mention the money under his pillow!  Kael is just getting so big I cant get over it!!  ):

We woke him up early for church he is not quite awake yet, but very excited!!  He remembered to take out his 50 cents for tithing.  Such a good boy.

Elders Quorum Game night

We had a fun Elders Quorum game night last Friday.  We weren't in charge of it but because the President and wife were out of town and the guy that was in charge of the activities wasn't going to be there we ended up being in charge of it.  If my name was going to be attached I wanted it to be fun!  So when everyone got there we had put super hero names on their back and they had to guess who they were.  Then we played a giant game of catch phrase boys against the girls.  It was HILARIOUS!!!  You are not supposed to use gestures but really sometimes you have to use a gesture so they knew what you were talking about.  I think the boys ended up winning, who knows they probably cheated!!  (:  Then we played the celestial marriage newlywed game.  Josh and I lost big time, he didn't know my favorite store and I couldn't remember where our first kiss was!!  It has almost been 9 years my memory is fading!  Remarkably there were allot of couples that were right on the money they knew their spouse inside and out.  It was a pretty funny game.  I loved when it was the mens turn at answering a question because they had the funniest answers.  Such a fun night.  I am ready to get a babysitter and do it again!!

Snowboarding

Over a week ago on a Wednesday Josh played hooky from work and went snowboarding with a bunch of his buddies from church.  He left our house a 5am and didn't get home until 8pm.  He had such a fun time, and was so tired when he got home.    One of our friends that went with them had never been snowboarding before and of course all the guys thought they should take him to the top of the mountain the very first time!!  Poor guy ended up with a broken rib!!  But he still had fun and kept going the whole day.  Thanks to Glen I have these wonderful pics because there was no way that Josh was going to take pictures!!! (:  They are already planning their next trip!  

All done for the day I guess his legs just gave out!
