Scary Morning

So its about 9am and I am just cleaning around upstairs, I hear Josh's phone ring he forgot it at home again. It is his boss asking if Josh is there. I was like no he's not at work? he said no at first I thought it was a joke but he said he hasn't come in yet. Well I said he left at 7am this morning he should be there by now. I started to panic. he said well when he gets there I will have him call you. I got off the phone with him and called my dad, I said Josh isnt at work yet he left at 7am he doesnt have his phone I dont know what to do!!! My dad said I dont want to alarm you but there was a fatal accident on the freeway right where Josh gets off the freeway to go to work this morning!! AHHHH I was alarmed I just started to shake thought thought of Josh being dead on the freeway and me not knowing was pure dread and terror. I didnt know what to do, go looking for him on the freeway? I mean what do you do in that situation? I call my mom and as she got on the phone his phone rang again and it was him. The sound of his voice was the sweetest sound ever! I had to call my dad and let him know he was ok he had to call my bro in law Isaac because my dad had called him. Then I thought of whomever was killed on the freeway and the sorrow that there family would go through and I said a little prayer for them. I am grateful that Josh was just stuck on the freeway in the middle of the accident traffic, then actually killed in the accident. It has been an hour since the whole mess and I still cant stop shaking or crying!! Things like this just puts everything into perspective. I guess tonight when he gets home and wants to play video games, I wont complain (to much about it) (:

Memorial Day 2008

We went to the Phoenix Zoo with our cousins Lexi, Ali, Aaron, Uncle Isaac, Aunt Laura, Nana, and Grandpa. It was only 80 degrees today so we thought we should go before its hotter than you know what! My mom got the kids a pass so we were all able to get in free due to all her free tickets. Thanks mom and Dad for that it was so much fun!

What a perfect way to end a day at the zoo by riding on the carousel. Last time I went to the zoo I just had Mylee and I had taken the older two on the carousel but not Aiden and he watched and started to cry cause he wanted to ride. So he got to ride today like a big boy and was so stinkin excited about it!

No more zoo until October unless we want to get up way to early and go-that wont happen! On the ride home all the kids feel asleep. It was a very fun day at the zoo!!!

A sad weekend

Well as I bloged before our Auntie Sha Sha came and spent a whole week out in Arizona, my kids got pretty used to Auntie Sha sha being at our house everyday.  She went back to Cali on Friday night and my kids havent been the same since.  When Sha Sha left Kael cried for an hour at least, and now evey little while they ask me if Sha sha is coming over!  Ahh then I have to tell them no she went home but you will see her next weekend at the blessing.  That is not good enough and it starts the flow of tears once again!  Sha sha is truly my best friend she came out here and the first thing she said to me was what do you want me to do?  She is the sweetest person ever!  She cleaned out my fridge swept and moped the floor, watched the kids for me while I ran some errands.  I didnt ask her to do any of this she just did it.  She is such a wonderful example to me and my children.  Josh always tells me that I should try being sweeter.  I always tell him that if you wanted a sweet girl you should have married my sister!  Sha sha we miss you already and want you to come back!!  My kids love you more than me!!  (: Thanks for being the best sister ever!! You truly are my best friend and I am so sad that we are so far away from each other!!! ):

Funny phrase

We were at my moms house today and Kael was out watering my moms plants. He finished watering the plants and he asked "could I water Aiden?" I love it, I was like sure go for it! But it just cracked me up! I had to jot it down before my memory faded!

This week

On mothers day I woke up to wonderful breakfast in bed and it was 9:45 I got to sleep in!!!  Who could ask for more?  When asked what I would like for mothers day I told Josh that I would really like to be able to wear my wedding rings again.  I havent been able to wear them since Emma as my fingers have just gotten to fat.  So he took them to get sized a sautered ogether and I finally get to wear them again, it has taken my fingers a little while to get used to wearing them.  Then that evening we went to my moms for yummy chicken croissant sandwiches for dinner.  I had them at my baby shower and had been craving them ever since.  My cousin Jennifer also came over for dinner so that was pretty fun also.

Well On wednesday Josh went in and had an endoscopy done.  Through the past 8 years Josh has had some major intestinal issues and we are finally getting around to have it checked out.  Well the found out that Josh has a hiatal hernia and esophagitis, which the hernia can be treated with medicine and some lifestyle changes (he has to give up video games)  I wish!!  I am not sure yet what is going on with the esophagitis yet, they biopsied it and we will see, I guess it is fairly normal for people who have had the issues that Josh has had.   

Today (Friday)  Emma had said mommy your the prettiest, prettiest mamma ever!  Which made me melt because at that moment I had felt like I was the ugliest, ugliest mamma ever.

Aiden has started to walk I think he has been walking for 2 weeks now.  It is the cutest little waddle walk ever.  He is pretty proud of himself.  I thought maybe once he started to walk he would thin out, not yet anyways he is still my little chunk.

While the boys are away...

The girls will play!!! And play we did. The boys left for the father & sons outing Kael was so stinkin excited, it was to cute!! Emma was a little disgruntled that she didnt get to go. So we had to make this evening super fun. Boy did we ever! We played dress up we were both pretty princesses, we made cookies, and we painted her nails. We had a concert and she sang all of her favorite songs to me. I recorded them on my phone and sent them to my family they all loved the little singer.
During the cookie making process I let her do pretty much everything, I think the funniest part was when she would crack and egg she would just crunch it in her hand and then put what she could in the bowl, it was to funny. I am so ready to put my pjs on and hop into bed. It has been a long week... more blogs to follow

Auntie Sha sha is coming!!!

So I was talking with my mom about how excited I am that Auntie sha sha is coming, I told her that I wasent telling the kids until the day before otherwise the kids would bug me and ask is auntie sha sha coming today? How about today? My mom was like you should make them a count down chain. I was like sure if I had one child and a whole bunch of time on my hands I totally could, some days I can barely brush my own teeth!! ( I cant believe I just told everyone that, oh well). So my wonderful mom decided to make them each one. And now everyday we cut one of the chains off until Auntie Sha sha comes!!! Yeah we cant wait to play with her!!!
