Fourth of July weekend

Saturday the 3rd we went up north for the day to Isaac's family camp out. We just made it a day trip but my kids did not want to leave they had so much fun. To be honest so did I.

Mylee is usually terrified by everything so I was so surprised when she didn't want to get off the horse. She loved it.

Then the next night we went to watch the fireworks. I love the 4th of July. I love the cute clothes I love the fireworks, I just love everything about it!

I just love her!! She is such a good helper and does the sweetest things it just amazes me. She is not perfect at all but she really is a sweetheart!!

Here is where it gets funny. Once the fireworks started Mylee freaked out! Crying hysterically. Would not stop. She kept saying "I want go home want go home." Or "turn it off". Finally she just hid under this blanket crying the whole entire time the fireworks went off. it was funny at first but after awhile I am sure the people around us wanted her to shut up! I did too (:

My dear friend Monica had got a Twilight ticket for me because it came out the night of my birthday. She brought her nephew Jacob. We had a lot of fun waiting in line to see the movie. We made friends with all the Harkin employee's. They were really nice despite people being mean to them all night.

I threw a fit and made josh come see the movie he didn't want to stay up till midnight watch the movie and get up for work the next day. But I totally pulled the birthday card and there he was watching the movie with me (: Love him!! He surprised me and stayed home from work with me on my birthday. It was so fun to get all the facebook happy birthdays texts all day from people. it was also fun going and getting all the free birthday treats. I went and got my dozen free krispie kreme donuts. We went to Joe's Farm Grille for my free birthday lunch. Then we went into my work and the girls I work with had ordered yummy Mexican food. it was a really nice day. I felt so very loved that day. I guess that's why birthdays are so fun. (:

I have got to say that I finally feel comfortable in my own skin. Do you know what I mean? It took me 30 years to realize that I like myself, that I can have my own opinion and its ok. That I am not as skinny as I was in High school but I feel so much better about myself. I just cant explain it,but just that I am finally in a "happy place". I look forward to getting older and wiser. I am at peace with myself. I know it is because everyday my testimony grows and it makes my life so much better. I can feel my Savior's love for me on a daily basis. I am worthy of his love. I am grateful for the knowledge I have of an eternal family. I have a testimony of prayer he never answers it the way I want him to but he answers it and its the right way.

Man its been awhile

It is so hard to get caught up once you take a break from blogging. I am going to try and get caught up just a little bit. We had such a fun summer it seemed liked we were always going some where doing something that summer just flew by. So here is a taste of some of the fun we have had this summer.

These boys had so much fun. I am not going to lie I had fun while they were away!!! (:

So what do you do when all the men are away? You have a major party that's what you do!! We started off by having dinner at the new fast food Tia Rosa's. Then we all went back to my house and we had a bow making party. It was so much fun and I was able to have so many bows!! (I could not make a bow to save my life) Luckily my awesome friend Monica whipped me up some super cute ones!!

So this literally ended being an all night party! Even the little girls stayed up all night, they were in Emma's room making necklaces and bracelets listening to Justin Beiber as loud as they could.I think the total of little girls including babies was around 10 but I might be off. I didn't end up going to bed until after 4am. That's right!! 4AM is when everyone ended up going home!! But I had such a fun night!! I love all the girls that came. They just made it so much fun!! Thank you to all my friends that ended up coming. The super tired next day was SO worth it (;

So back when it wasn't a million degrees outside we went on a little adventure. I have always wanted to climb these rocks, every time we visit the zoo I would say I really want to go check those out. Well we finally went and "checked" them out. Kael and Emma thought they were awesome. Aiden and Mylee had a harder time because they didn't like all the hiking.

Birthdays!! So behind!

My little ones had a birthday!! So Mylee's bday is March 29th and Aiden's bday is April 3rd. So for a week they are always the same age. It was fun to say that I have two 2 year olds. Its not really fun I dont recommend having them 11 months apart. (: So they will forever share there bday party. We had a Carnival party theme and Josh did the invitations for me. Its so nice I just tell him what I want and he just whips it up!

I found on craigslist this super cheap bounce house and we had that put up in our backyard. Aiden thought that the bounce house was his present. He just didn't understand that it was only for the weekend. It was such a busy weekend that I didn't get any pics of the bounce house I really only took like 4 pics total!! The kids had so much fun. I had so much fun! My mom made the cute giant cup cakes for the kids Aiden LOVED his cake! He did not want to share any of his cake with anyone!!
