Bill Barron

Josh's grandpa Bill Barron passed away on Josh's birthday.  We all knew it was coming, even though we knew it was coming we still weren't ready for it.  We know that this life is short, that we are only to come to get a body and be tested, and if we prove faithful and righteous that we will be with are families again.  But having to say goodbye to someone is something no one wants to do.  I think of Grandpa as my own grandpa.  I remember when I met Grandpa for the first time.  It was Thanksgiving 1999 I was dating Josh and I went to his families house for thanksgiving.  I fell in love with Josh's entire family.  They made me feel loved right away.  I knew that Josh was the one that night because of his family.  Then Christmas Eve of that same year we were in Santa Barbara and Josh asked me to marry him at the Goleta beach. (such a beautiful beach)  I remember driving to Lompoc to tell Josh's grandpa and grandma.  I still remember telling them and the LOVE that radiated from both of them for us, was such an amazing feeling.  I left there feeling like he was my grandpa from that day forward.  He reminded me so much of my grandpa that had passed away a year before that.  We loved them both.  I know that both Grandma and Grandpa Barron had some hard trials in the end of their life.  Trials that I hope to never have to face, but they faced them with such dignity and grace.

I am grateful to them for the family that they had.  And for always loving us no matter what decision we made.  Grandpa Barron will be missed sorely. But I am comforted in knowing that we will see him again.  I am so grateful to have that knowledge of eternal life.  I am grateful to my Savior and for the Atonement, and for eternal families.  I am also grateful that Grandpa Barron is no longer suffering and that he is once again whole, and with his wife once more.
Till we meet again.

I am so glad that we went to visit Great Grandpa while we were all camping we took some great pictures and had a great time with Great grandpa, and we got to see him one last time.

Josh's Birthday

Well Josh had taken off Wednesday Thursday and Friday of last week in celebration of his birthday.  Josh's birthday was Friday December 5th.  Kind of an emotional day for us.  First thing in the morning my mom calls me hysterical that my Grandma has collapsed and that they are taking her to the hospital.  (She is going to be o.k.)  It just started the day off a little sad. Then I let Josh sleep in. ( I am so nice)  (:  We didn't get dressed till noon.  Then I had go to Kaels school for their reindeer run and help out with that.  Then to Walmart to get some stuff for Josh's birthday party that he does NOT want to have!  Then I call Josh to see how he is doing and I get some more bads news from his side of the family.  (I will post about that later)  It just kind of made the rest of the day a little somber for us. Then take Kael to the doctor he has to get tubes in his ears.  Thats going to be fun!  But if it makes his ears feel better thats all I care about.  Then we have our friends and family come over for some pizza and cake and guitar hero (One of Josh's favorite games)  He is really good to!!  (:  here was the fun...

Lighting ALL those candles was tricky!!

Aiden was ready for some cake

Nice toothy smile

A big thanks to those who came and made it a super fun birthday party.  We especially loved staying up  till 12:30 talking with some great friends!!  I don't ever stay up that late but it was so much fun!  Thanks for that Brian and Natalie you guys were awesome!  I cant wait for our next late night gathering (:

Emma's Birthday

Well wednesday December 3rd Emma Jean Barron turned four and boy I thought for sure she was going to turn into a fantastic four year old, but at this moment she is a finicky four year old or an emotional year old or anything but fantastic.  But I still love my darling emotional little girl!!.  We did a birthday party for her on Saturday I will do that post later this was just the morning of her birthday.  She woke up to some fun presents.  I stayed up past midnight to finish her ABC book, its a scrap book of family members pics with the letters of the alphabet.  It just takes along time and I have been doing it for a few years.  Kael takes his book to church with him, and they love to look at it.  So I knew I had to get it finished before the big day.  My mom came over that morning and brought her a doll similar to the American girl dolls but cheaper because we want to see how well she takes care of it before she gets the real thing!  We got her this little digital camera that she loves, and Auntie Shasha and Uncle Drew got her this cute little tea set that she just loves!  Her are some of the pics.

All of her gifts

She named her doll Mya

Aiden with the tea set

She couldn't believe she had her very own ABC book (:

Josh took the day off because out of all the days possible I had to take an Instructor CPR certified class.  I am now officially able to teach you CPR woohoo!!  (: So I had to be at work at 11am and didn't get home till she was fast asleep.  My dad came and took Kael and Emma to Mcdonalds for Happy meals and ice cream for dinner.  Josh is so good with Emma she pretty much will do anything he tells her unlike me (:  He said she had a great day (minus a few emotional melt downs.)  When I came home from work and checked on my sleeping little ones this is what I found...

She slept with her doll Mya

And her ABC book is under her bum!!  (:

The Zoo with my Family

Last Friday instead of waiting in long lines like everyone else did.  We decided to go to the zoo.  It was a perfect day at the zoo because the animals were up and walking around.  The winter in Arizona is the best time to go to the zoo, because that is when it seems like all the cool animals are doing things.  The mountain lion cubs (they are huge now) were stalking us.  It was so cool.  I think  Aiden looked like a tasty treat to them.  The 4 mexican wolves were actually out.  I think because there were humans in there habitat cleaning it, and they were afraid of them so they kept running around and watching them.

Aiden didn't want to touch the rays at first

But he didn't want to leave this exhibit at all  :)

He through a fit when it was time the leave here, and we did make him touch a ray and he liked it (:

Just like his uncles loves all animals and loved touching the rays

Too cute for words

I am in love with this little thing  (:

And this happy little thing!! I could just eat her I love her so much!!

Nice way to ride around the zoo on Uncle Drew & Uncle Cameron's back

Drew look out for the bee its gonna get Alicia!! (:  (Just something funny that happened at the zoo we will just say Drew saved Alicia's life from a scary bee, he kind of screamed like a girl and tried to swat it away)  The funniest part of the day!!!  Oh yeah and he's wearing Alicia's sweater!

He did not want Auntie Shasha to take him on the carousel he only wanted mommy I need a break from that ride!

A little better, but not really

He loves the Alligator

Mylee loves the train ride, she talked the whole way

Random out of order ray picture!!

The carousel is Emma's favorite thing to do at the zoo

The end of a very long but fun day at the zoo, time for a nap!

Thanksgiving

So we had a great thanksgiving feast at my mom's house. Everyone was there except for Chris and Shoko and Timmy ): We missed you guys so MUCH!!! Typical day of the girls in the kitchen getting dinner ready (minus Kimmi) she pretty much avoided the whole helping thing all together, not sure how she got out of it, but I will need to take lessons for next year. (: Then we have my wonderful daddy complaining about the mess that we were making. Ok we were getting dinner ready it will be messy (: We had to kick him out of the kitchen and to his room, till he could stop griping. (: I have no pictures of Cameron and Josh because they were pretty much playing World of Warcraft the whole time. Yes my brother has gone to the dark side with Josh, he will never return. ): They bonded over the game so that is cool. Not too many pics of Drew because I made him the official photographer for the day. So I could blog about it later!! Thanks Drew!! We had a great feast. Then after dinner Cameron took Kael and Emma to see Bolt and the rest of us went to see twilight. (personally I wished it were Harry Potter that we were seeing but oh well) Not a bad movie at all. My dad didn't read the books but he thought the movie was great. I agree with my SIL Megan that I wasn't to into Edward, but then in the movie he warmed up to me. (: It was a great night with the Family. During our movie Bolt had finished and Cameron and Kael and Emma were outside the movie and Cameron had taught Kael how to text me on his phone. My little boy wants to grow up to fast!! It was a very cute text and perfect spelling.

Things I am thankful for

Silly smiles

The silliness that is us sisters (We love to molest each other, in a good way)

Mouths stuffed with donuts

Owees to kiss and make better

Sweet sisters

And most of all a wonderful husband, who does not share it often but when he shares his testimony he amazes me every-time, and then I fall in love with him all over again.  Thank-you for working so hard for our family, this year and every year.  We love you so much!!

Thanksgiving party

Kaels class had their Thanksgiving party and it was at the end of the school day.  Kael knew that after school he would get to see his Aunties and Uncles and he was SO excited to see them.  I thought it would be fun to bring Uncle Cameron to the party and surprise Kael.  Boy was he surprised and so excited!!  He couldn't stop smiling and he didn't want to leave his side.  It was so awesome!!  I am really glad I brought him.  In fact when we got to his class he ran right up and gave Uncle Cameron a hug, didn't even acknowledge  his mommy (:  Don't worry Aunite Shasha next time I will take you (:

Here are the cute pictures

So excited to show Uncle Cameron his classroom (:
